Vintage Rare Kutch Rabari Textile Art Wall Hanging- FREE SHIPPING

I've chosen to frame this one of a kind Vintage Rabari tribe piece in bright coloured cottons that accent the embroidery threads of this traditional design.

I've trimmed the wall hanging with vibrant cotton tassels and wood beads which also pull from the panels colours. The buttons that decorate the tabs are made from coconut shell.

These sought after embroideries are created by the Rabari Tribe, a nomadic group living mainly in the semi-desert Kutch parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan, Northwest India.

The mirrors are genuine, not imitation. They have some beautiful hand crafted imperfections. There may be some subtle cracks in the mirrored pieces since these works of textile art are vintage and have traveled far and wide, as have their nomadic creators.
