We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to allow time for planning, coordination, and securing all vendors and the venue. For high season (May–October), earlier booking is best. But don’t worry — if you have a last-minute request, we can still make the magic happen!

First, please contact us to check date availability. Once the date is confirmed, you can select your package and book directly through our WeTravel booking site for secure online payment. At checkout, you can also choose to add any extra services if desired. Once your deposit is received, your date is officially confirmed and we’ll begin coordinating all the details.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your date, with the remaining 50% balance due 30 days prior to the event.

Please note that this deposit is non-refundable, as we also pay deposits to our service providers.

If you need to cancel within that 30-day window, we can refund the remaining 50% as long as the cancellation is made at least 7 days in advance. After that point, the full amount is non-refundable.

Meals and drinks are not included as standard in our proposal packages. Some proposal experiences do include a lunch or dinner element, while others focus purely on the proposal moment itself.

Where food is included or added, we can accommodate most dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options. Please share any requirements in advance so everything can be arranged smoothly.

We suggest dressing comfortably yet elegantly, in a style that feels natural to you as a couple. The Sacred Valley has a varied climate, so layers are ideal, especially for late afternoons and evenings when temperatures drop. For our remote proposal packages, comfortable shoes are recommended.

For afternoon proposals, hats are also recommended, as the sun can be very strong high up in the mountains. Neutral or earthy tones photograph beautifully against the mountain landscape.

We’ll take care of everything — including a bouquet of flowers for your love. However ,you may wish to bring a personal letter or small gift to make the moment even more special.

For afternoon proposals, we recommend bringing a hat and sunscreen, as the sun can be quite strong high up in the mountains. We also suggest packing a light jacket, scarf, or poncho to stay warm as the temperature can drop in the evenings.

Don’t worry — we always prepare a backup plan for outdoor events.

Options include covered cabanas, indoor dining spaces, or rescheduling to another time of day.

Yes! Around the date of your proposal, we’ll be delighted to help plan your activities in and around the Sacred Valley. This includes tours to sites such as the Maras salt mines, the Moray archaeological site, as well as Ollantaytambo, Pisac, and Chinchero ruins. We can also arrange experiences like horseback riding, ATV adventures, llama walks, hiking, and mountain bike tours — plus much more! Yes, we can! Machu Picchu marriage proposals are possible with careful planning, though they can be logistically complex due to ticket limits, entry times, and site restrictions.

It’s also very possible to plan your proposal at another ancient site, where you’ll find far fewer people, much more privacy, and incredibly unique Incan backdrops for your surprise proposal photos.

Sacred Valley Weather Overview

• May – September (Dry Season / High Season): Sunny days, blue skies, cooler nights. Ideal for outdoor weddings, ceremonies, and travel. This is the most popular season. Afternoons in the valley tend to be windy.

• July - This is the coldest month of the year; the days are generally lovely, but the nights get very chilly, so it is best to be prepared for that.

• October – November (Transition Season): Mostly dry with some light showers. Still good for outdoor events, with fewer crowds than peak season.

• December – March (Rainy Season): Frequent rains, lush green landscapes, fewer tourists. Outdoor events can be challenging, but intimate indoor ceremonies can be magical with the chance for photos with the stunning backdrops!

• April (Transition Season): Rains taper off, landscapes remain green and vibrant. A beautiful balance between fresh scenery and improving weather.
