Mini Makeovers with Casa Karima- Easy Steps to Refresh Your Room Interior

It's incredible how quickly you can makeover a room with some fun textiles and switching up the home accessories!

I've created another fun mini-makeover video for quick interior styling inspiration, and to show you how easy it is to transform your space with some unique home decor pieces that will uplift your life and home!

Let me walk you through the accessories I've used to style the space.

I've transformed this bohemian bedroom from an undressed room to a sumptuous space filled with luscious textures and calming pastel tones.

The inspiration for this interior design style came from the Vintage Ralli Quilt that I've used to accessorize the bed.

This retro bed throw is a one-of-a-kind hand-crafted patchwork appliqué Sindhi blanket from Pakistan. It’s a real textile treasure that has been hand-sewn as a community project by a group of rural village women artisans working together to create one unique piece at a time.

This bedspread dates Circa 1970's and is in excellent condition. I did some light surface repairs to spruce it up a little.

I have built this bedrooms eclectic decor theme by layering patterns and textures. I've kept the color palette consistent with the bed throw as the foundation and the highlight of this stylish bohemian bedroom.

The Gisele Wall Hanging is a rare vintage, hand-knotted kilim from Morocco. I have customized it by adding hemp cotton pole tabs so that it can be hung and admired as a tapestry. I've accessorized this unique textile with fabulously fluffy tassels adding a cultural twist with the Asian Hmong Hill Tribe Pompoms.

The throw pillows are also from the Casa Karima collection, made with Jim Thompson fabric- Tony Duquette Gemstone Grillwork Limited Edition Fabric. I just love how lux they look and feel.

Among the accessories, you'll see the fabulous Cone Shell Hanging Planters as well as a Set of Vintage Buddhist Blessing Bowls that I have repurposed as plant pots on the low accent table.

I've also added my absolute favorite Amethyst Votive which has traveled the world with me. I love to have the protective and calming energy of Amethyst crystals around me in some form.

A watchful protective eye looks over the bed with this whimsical dream catcher.

The little ottoman-style tea table that I have placed on the bed is a hand-crafted blue-washed wood and hammered metal piece from India. I've dressed it with the cutest little Sake Set that I picked up on a trip to Tokyo, Japan.
